I’m an Agricultural Communications major at Texas Tech University, originally from Wharton, Texas — a small town southwest of Houston deeply rooted in agriculture. I’ve grown up immersed in the western horse world, competing in everything from Western Pleasure to Barrel Racing, and now competing in Reined Cow Horse.
My passion for photography and videography is fueled by capturing the moments that matter most — in and out of the show pen. Whether it’s a graduation, a horse retirement portrait, or someone’s very first run, I strive to preserve the emotions behind every milestone. There’s nothing quite like freezing in time a mile-wide grin or the quiet joy of a well-earned pat on the neck after a great ride. Being able to tell these stories visually keeps me connected to the industry that has given so much to me — and inspires me to give back through my work.
When I decided to make a name for my business, I wanted to choose something that held immense meaning to me and my life. That is why I decided to name it after Slyd My Way, my personal horse I have been showing since 2020. "Slick" has done so much for my life, pushing me to high levels of competition I never thought I could achieve. He has been my best friend and made me the horsewoman I am today.
When not behind the camera, you can find me showing with the Texas Tech Ranch Horse Team or judging with the Texas Tech Horse Judging Team. Wreck 'em!
I also love to thrift and antique, as well as do anything outside or go on a fun run and listen to a good podcast.
